Apparently Tes bit Ziml's dog, so Ziml went to Tes' allotment plot in St Werburghs and uprooted all his prize tomatos. They were beef tomatos. So now Tes has found out what kind of TV Ziml has, has got one the same, and now sits in his car outside Ziml's house changing channel with the remote control every few seconds. SHIT IS GETTING OUT OF HAND!!!

old but hay..

The search is on for a talented graffiti artist to redesign the interior of the Blue Mountain Club.

As part of their ongoing improvements to the club, Blue Mountain has decided to give all budding street-artists the chance to make their mark on the interior of the “world famous” haunt.

Incorporating the already renowned logo, Blue Mountain plans to paint a mural on one of the main room walls…and you could be the designer.

Website gallery

We at the website that loves Bristol will feature the submitted designs and give you the chance to have your say on which you like best.

The winner will receive a £150 cash prize, plus the opportunity to apply your design to the inside of the club.

The chosen design will also win a years’ free entry to Blue Mountain for the artist and a friend.

Alterior clothes store on Park Street is donating ten cans of Belton Molotow paints to add to the prize pot.

Superb sketches

And the design will be printed on all bar staff T-shirts, with a few for the winner to take home, as well.

So, if you think you have what it takes to design the freshest and most imaginative design, call CSPR on 0117 907 4223 to get a copy of the logo, the dimensions and get drawing.

If you have any questions about the competition, do not hesitate to call Charlotte or Rebecca who will be happy to go through the details with you.

Send your superb sketches through to CSPR, Po Box 2010, Bristol BS99 5WX by May 5 and keep your fingers crossed

1998 walls on fire

Graffiti 'writers' from all over the country will be joining Bristol-based graffiti 'writers' and local young people to create one of the longest outdoor galleries in Britain - on the at-Bristol site hoardings on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August.

The event, offering a rare glimpse of some of Britain's finest graffiti artists at work, will be the biggest of its kind in Britain for many years. A collaboration between at-Bristol and Walls on Fire, artists and two youth groups from Hartcliffe and Kingswood in Bristol will work to create original art works on the Harbourside hoardings.

The artists, among the biggest names on the British graffiti scene, will base their designs on science, nature and art, the key themes being brought together through the at-Bristol project, which opens in Spring 2000.

Graffiti first evolved as a method of expression for the youth in the Bronx area of New York in the early 1970s. Now practised by highly committed and skilled 'writers', the art form provides a vibrant backdrop to late 20th Century urban culture as we head towards the millennium.

Helen Carey, Public Art Project Manager for at-Bristol commented: "This will be a really exciting and vibrant event, providing an innovative showcase for some of graffiti's leading lights. It's a fantastic first event for the at-Bristol Public Art programme and we're sure to have some unique and expressive ways of seeing science, nature and art interact. We're very grateful to all the event sponsors, especially Bristol City Council, Tarmac and Full Cycle Records who have helped to make it happen."

Banksy, one of the Bristol-based artists taking part, said: "This will be a truly epic art event - the premiership of graffiti art in the UK, involving a collection of some of the most creative, committed and ground-breaking guys on the scene."

The event will also play host to a rare live breakdancing set by New York's 'Next Level' B-boy crew, featuring members of the original Rock Steady Crew, alongside a line-up of well-known Bristol DJs.

at-Bristol is a Landmark Millennium Project, whose principal partners include the Millennium Commission, English Partnerships and Bristol City Council. It includes the science centre Explore at-Bristol and wildlife centre Wildscreen at-Bristol. The two new attractions, due to open in Spring 2000, will be linked by a series of magnificent open spaces, featuring public art, sculpture, water and light features.
