Mr Torrance Posted January 19, 2004 Share Posted January 19, 2004 id have to say atg get beef purely due to jealousy. atg are a nice bunch of lads so there's no real provacation. they make the london scene a bit interesting rather than so called 'ghetto' writers who make london boring with the same old crackhead chrome and black dubs everywhere. if you go to amsterdam, for example, the tracks are full of nice colour peices from station to station not just chrome mess that you generally see in london. Mr Torrance Posted January 19, 2004 Share Posted January 19, 2004 im not saying chrome and blacks dont look good- i paint alot of them myself, but alot of chrome stuff u see on tracks is badly done by toys and little kids. im just saying colour stuff e.g emulsion productions etc can brighten up the tracks and make shit more interesting and creative. also a colour peice is more 'hardcore and getto' than a chrome and black as it takes far longer to do and therefore involves more risk. i think people with beef should fuck off. NOTTS1 Posted January 20, 2004 Share Posted January 20, 2004 dont no why there is so much beef with the atg lot, im not from london obviously but the atg lot are sound as fuck, do nice tracksides, rooftops, street bombing etc, atg are starting to change views on london from outsiders, before atg many people would just think i aint going london to much hassle etc dds etc, now i think in fact i know more people have respect for london because of this crew and a few others, no offence but dds gave the place a bad name because everyone thinks your going to get lined, robbed straight away, atg have pushed boundaries man i would much rather see a atg trackside, train, rooftop then anything dds do. Pieces should be done illegal, just cos you doing illegal don;t mean you got to do a dub. Also doing a street fill is hot. I hate it and have only ever done it a few times.
