there's a serious car theme going on today here at 12oz.

97.subaru.legacy.f34.jpg

^ just it was black with gold trim.

97 Subaru Legacy GT Limited Edition.

Honestly the best subaru ever made before the wrx.

Plus 97 was the last year when they looked more like a benz

and less like a hundai. I got mad looks in that car. And some

hot buns in the leather seats (no seat warmer needed).

the idea came from you saying you always remember your first car, even though in a different context.

hahha. too much car talk. my first was an '81 vw jetta. silver. 4 door. affectionately called smokescreen cause it leaked oil so bad. one day i'll buy another one, 2 door though. my dream project car  don't have a scanned pic of it though. might as well go through my history while i'm at it

2nd: '89 vw foxy lady. was soooo mint. had her for 7 years. should have kept her...

3rd: '97 vw gti. again, wished i would have kept this one. spent the most $$$ and time and love with this baby. i really miss her...

present: '95 vw passat variant. totally not digging this one. probably cause i can't afford to turbo her  atleast she's different...

Seriously. I feel the same way about my old car.

Despite the fact that it died on me numberous times, it was sooo much fun to drive.

Nothing compares to feeling of driving a car without power steering or power brakes. Nothing.
