hiphop trivia part 2.

ok.. here it goes again.

1) whose voice [saying "one love"] is sampled in Nas' "one love" from his classic ILLMATIC?

2) who [supposedly] was the ghost writer for the late Notorious B.I.G.'s READY TO DIE album? in turn, this ghost writer was given his own solo album to keep quiet about his work.

*a ghost writer is someone who produces/creates a song with very very very little or no publicity, but still given credit. for example, mad skillz is one of the most popular ghost writers of all time.

3. What does the abbreviated "H.E.R." stand for in Common's classic single "I Miss H.E.R."?

Let the games begin..

zesto..here are my attempts.

1) people under the stairs, j.rawls, will smith.

2) dj cash money? kool herc? i'm not old school.. i just "respect" it.

3)when i first bought liquid swords.. it scared the shit out of me. i listened to it while i was going to sleep. damn.. that samurai shit was funky.

i honestly don't like any albums as a whole.. but i like specific tracks..

the last last last track of enter the 36 chambers..

and BIBLE from GZA's liquid swords..

but to answer your question.. i think GZA's liquid swords or Ghostface Killah's first are the best.

whaaat?! Craig Mack is definitely not talented enough to write the shit on Ready To Die.... i mean, his only hit was Flava In Ya Ear... his second album might as well have never dropped

i think craig mack is still good, regardless.

and FLAVA IN YA EAR is bangin. that beat is ultimately the dopest.

i agree about Flava In Ya Ear being a dope song and all, but i think the lyrics on Biggie's album far surpass anything put out by Craig Mack...

-what graffiti magazine was Goldie featured in, before he made music (as a writer)?

-who rhymed "Carry a can of flat black in my knapsack" ?

-what was Craig Mack's original MC name?

-what was the name of Ice T's book?

-who made a rap song (and pop hit) out of Madonna's "Holiday"?

-what was the name of the label that Young Black Teenagers came out on, and whose label was it?

-what do Brand Nubian, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Heavy D and Puff Daddy have in common?

-name 4 rappers who took their names from characters in classic black action films.
