FREDDY VS JASON

BIGBLUE

Now honestly, does anyone out there really think such a movie is necessary ?. For years all who are into serious horror have come up with an idea for such a film but at the end of the thought knew that is was a rediculous concept. The whole horror film industry is wack now anyway. Movies like Final Destination, Feardotcom and The ring have taken over in the scary department.

It is now the role of independent film-makers to supply us with the blood and guts we used to watch fifteen twenty years ago .

But back to biz.. this movie is going to be trash !

freddy going into jason's dreams? c'mon thats dope.

its funny though that you mention kung-fu.

its gonna be directed by ronnie yu, originally a hong kong, kung fu fantasy director...he also directed bride of chucky.

:D

Here's what I dont get...

Jason doesn't ever speak and Freddy is a wise cracking jerk.

I just know they're going to slant it so one is seen as a good guy

and I bet it's Freddy that gets the audiences favour. Now throw in the

tall man from Phantasm as the ref and it's on!

here's a little film making secret that I'll share with you horror buffs.

You know the classic 'jump out of your seat' suprise shot?

Like when the killer jumps out of the closet or when a cat comes

into the shot to suprise the characters and most people just freak.

Well here's the trick to really getting that suprise.... have them

enter from camera left. It's that simple. As our eyes scan the wide

screen to take in all the information, they go from left to right.

If a thing pops on to frame from the right, our eyes are already

moving towards it and we aren't as scared. When the killer or the

decoy pop in from the left, our eyes have already scanned that area

and moved away from it only to be jolted back to where they

already were. That's one of the most classic tricks.

Watch for it next time you get a real shock from a horror/suspence film.

(and it's the entire reason why Sam Raimi has built such thrilling films.)
