Guest Posted April 26, 2004 People might say that some other city is 'more cool' or whatever than toronto, but there is no denying that Toronto IS the cultural hub of canada. It's like saying the NYC is not the apex of american cities.

Lil Bro G 0 Posted April 30, 2004 In Winnipeg, the best place to go is URBAN BAKERY, they sell graff markers, caps, videos, dvd's, montana paints, meanstreaks, lowrider bikes, turntables and records, clothing and bongs and pipes. Amazing place, everybody is so mellow, good atmosphere, I dont know the adress but all you have to do is go eastbound on Portage Avenue until you get to Portage Place Shopping Mall and is right across the street. Guest Posted May 3, 2004 Originally posted by PalestineOne damn, i didnt know people had style in canada? I didnt even know there were people in canada! hardeeHarHar... You'd be suprised. Canada is way more 'hip' that the states by population. Sure there's backwater places up here too, but think that there's about a hundred million more clueless yokels in your country than in mine. No offence of course. Sure there's burbs and sure there's farms but most major city in canada is 'cooler' than the US perspective would lead you to think. Sells Silas and all those James Jarvis figures, few fresh trainers (including custom one offs) and all manor of trendy labels. http://b0b.dust.cx/minky.jpg'> Minky is on the same street (tel: 01273 604490) and rammed full of uber trendy clothes. Uber trendy shop, loads of exclusive(expensive) Maharishi, I-Saw, Bape, etc etc stuff. That series of roads is called The Laines and is full of boutiques and indy shops selling all sorts of interesting stuff. Definately worth spending a few hours wondering around, after spending time on the beach but before going out drinking and clubbing (which Brighton is well known for).
