STORES/BOUTIQUES WORLWIDE - HELP...

Recommended Posts

Alright, I know there's been a few threads on this already, but after digging through them, they seemed kind of a mess. Obviously, the major cities are really important, but if you know a real cool shop in some obscure town list anyways.

We're not looking for the crap mall stores that might have a mag or two and some streaks or the run of the mill shop with nothing special, but rather real slick clothing, skate, toy, and gallery spots that are worth seeking out if you happen to make it to that city.

Anyhow, please keep the format somewhat organized, and if you've visited the store yourself, please write a line or two about what they had that made it so slick, ie- product, interrier design, etc.

Example:

360 TOY GROUP

239 Eldridge Street

NY, NY 10002

646.602.0138

*Gallery/store of limited edition toys and art (Michael Lau, Kaws, Futura, etc)

-------------------------------------------

UNION

172 Spring Street

NY, NY 10012

212.226.8493

*Hipster boutique with lots of hard to find product like LE dunks, Maharashi, 2K, etc.

I'm like 3 blocks from there, so if you need anything... ask me.

There's a few other plaes in the area that carry good products from

clothes to kicks to montana cans. Let me know if you want a full report.

if you can, please take some photos. (at least of the outside if they wont let you photograph the inside. also, if you can report back their full address and phone number, as well as a brief description of what they carry, etc... that would be swell.

thanks.

btw, are they the only store of this type in the area, or are there other noce shops around town?

Specialty Sneakers

For London Sneaker Heads ...

Courtesy of http://www.sneakerfreaker.com:

"The latest, but easily the greatest, is Foot Patrol. These guys know sneakers...fact. With UK sneaker guru Fraser Cooke at the helm, this store is the place for sneaker connoisseurs. The interior is truly bizarre with all the sneakers held in cages. You’ll find kicks from Supreme, Tas, Maad Foot, Visvims, limited Reeboks and super limited Nikes like the recent Escape series or all the HTMs."

Footpatrol 16A St Annes Court, 02077346625, http://foot-patrol.com

Im not in Europe myself but I went Website hunting for the people that were not in the know, and of course for the Europeans and London Towners.

Vienna, Austria

The Dollar Shop

Mariahilferstr. 125, Ecke Bürgerspitalgasse

1060 Wien

Tel / Fax .: 01 / 596 4851

Email : dollarwien@aon.at

Mo - Fr : 10.30 - 18.30 / Sa : 10.30 - 17.00 Uhr

Accessible from Westbahnhof, the 18 Stassenbahn and the U3 U-bahn

They speak German and English and have a pretty good selection of skate stuff, accessories, and have a pretty good stock of Montana Paint, (for the paint you have to ask them for it, it is in a locked room). Since I moved to Vienna it has been the only shop where I have found you can get paint at decent prices. 3 to 4 euros a can.

Do not enter to any of these stores listed above.

YRB - only kids in middle school with glow sticks should go there.

Patricia Fields - for drag queens and early 90's club kids only.

Scrap Yard - ok, you could go there, but only spend 10 min. there.
