you can get lines that nice with those expensive brushes I bought one for like 8$ and it was hella nice and that was dick blicks shitty one.

But you dont see like brush stroke lines in the paint, I think he did it will paint marker. Look at the fills, its real solid no brush lines. What did you use? I am looking at painting on canvas and always wanted to know what to use to be real clean.

yeah nevermind' date='lol. Unless he's hella good w/ brush. when I wanna get real nice lines I usually use a marker but I usually like the whole brush "feel" to it.[/quote']

So I guess the answer is paint marker? Please enlighten

What's up guys? Tons of good shit in here.

So this is the last time I use this character. I swear, I'm finished with it. This is acrylic, sharpies, paint pens, etc. on a piece of wood that I found in the trash. My kid and stained it and put polyurethane on it (she's 4 and into this kind of shit). 5" x 27".

sorry for the delay in replying..haven't been back in a bit...

i use markers for my outlines and certain fills (smaller areas mostly), but mostly brush/acrylic and/or spray for fills. as for the 'no brush lines' in the fills...i just take my time and lay down 4 or 5 coats..keep that shit smooth, keep the brush strokes even and don't rush.

and yes, good quality brushes make all the difference.

i've got quite a few new pieces that haven't seen the light of day yet...i might post em soon.

Reviser, that's fucking nuts! nice work.
