Wes Mantooth
^That's fresh man and the cat in the corner (left of the tree) looks perverted. He's spying on that squirrel, ready to pounce on that poor thing. Trying to lure the squirrel with the balloons and shit.

Wes Mantooth
Whoa.. I just read back a couple of pages and most of the graffiti related canvases are nothing special. They all follow the same recipe of: Space-ish looking background, (bad) graffiti from 2002, self made drips (please stop), and I guess most recently- graffiti at an angle. Personally, I think if you are going to do a graffiti canvas it should be approached differently. A lot of this shit looks like it's something that should belong on a wall or even a blackbook. And in the worst case, it doesn't belong anywhere in this realm. Seriously. I'm not going to post anymore or even indulge on that topic any longer without posting anything I've done. Hopefully I can get something up soon, I've been wanting to share shit for a while now. Recently I've been into big, wood cut out sculpture shits when it comes to graffiti. I just think canvases really limit what you can do with it. I did something a few months back for this center for youth organization place and I would like to get a flick of it to get my point across. I think Cody Hudson got me into it, maybe even Sonik but I'm not sure. Anyway, here's some good graffiti related canvases that I stole from the internet. I hope the folks don't mind that I am posting these. These are all stolen by the way. Maybe this will change how people will approach canvases. Don't bite though... *Sneke *Hews *Joker *Joshua Davis (not graffiti but it's still ill. There's fading and bubble so what the fuck) *Futura *Hybrid (well, this is digital) *No idea who this is but it's good.
Wes Mantooth
That last revise is good too.
2501
That last one is Cero. And the Hybrid is digitally designed, but he hand cuts the paper on the finished pieces. They look very dope in person.

JUSTONE
nice work people! 2501 - that pervert cat in the corner is terrifying. Definately after the squirrel nuts Wes, a solid point - despite the revelation that 'recently I've been into big wood'.. I love that futura Idea - can't help but think he could have executed it better Coffin - those are some good examples of how straight graffiti on canvas can work.
