Looking at all of his work I feel so inspired and know that those of us out there that are just avid lovers of graffiti need to work so much harder to fill the void that someone like him left. I don't live up in the cities, but I'm definitely going to be doing my thing down here even harder. And when I do get back up to the cities, I'm always going to think about him.

Much love to the family. If anyone knows of a memorial fund or if someone's going to do a tribute, post the info as it comes please. I'd really like to help in some way, even if it's from a different state.

"Thank you Ian for the quality pictures and reassurance that someone outside of this little world cares about our work. There was a level of mutual respect between writers and you that is even more obvious now. I'm glad you were here to document a fine city in the best possible way. Thanks."

"Minneapolis is the city I love. I'm not living there right now, but I'm still working in Mpls, and a part of my heart will always be in this city.

St. Paul is a beautiful city. It's full of history and some wonderful industrial areas." -MUNDANE 1/08

I don't know if I sent you this yet. My computer is all jacked up.

By the way- Ian's service is set for Friday May 1st at the Cremation Society in Edina from 1-4 w/ a service at 2. Watch for an obit on probably Wednesday. Nicole, his wife, is requesting that you all be there. Ian would have wanted to meet you all. Please forward this to everybody. It would mean a lot to Nicole.

Thanks,

Nick

Thank you, and I am so sorry.

The feeling i get is that everyone, and I mean everyone, loved this guy. Most of us didn't know him, but I think i speak for everyone when I say that we felt a special bond with him none the less. My room mate even, just from what he heard from my friends and I, and what little he had seen on his flickr. Ian was a great guy, and i feel comfortable saying that even though we only spoke on the phone and the net.

I will try my hardest to come to the service, as will most others, I assume.

Talk with you soon,
