Faust

Black Kiss

Big Guy and Rusty the Robot

Hard Boiled

Elektra Assasin

Probably my favorite comics.

I also have a fairly nice collection of Vaughn Bode stuff... original and reprints. Then again, I have been in this game for a while so it only makes sense.

There's also this one comic I bought a while back called White Trash. 1-4. I bought them because the artwork is amazing throughout. I'd have to dig it out to really remember the story line but I think it was about this Axel Rose looking character who meets up with Elvis and they go around terrorizing shit.

Another good read/ artwork comic is The Light and Darkness War by Cam Kennedy. 1-6... I think.

Anyway, it's been years since I stepped foot in a comic shop so I'll shut up now...

the cartoon was fresh too.

i recently just started rereading all my old comics (about 500-700)

i was reading the marvels mini-series and it's a really dope concept, well executed and a novel illustration style (for comics anyway)

Hot of the press

right now...

Jae Lee drawing Capitan America Ice - 5 issues... story ok, but the arts off the hook

Bendis and Mallev doing Daredevil... Kingpin, Bullseye, and Typhoid Mary back in town

Current Batman... Loeb and Lee... best issue: 612

And my current favorite, always good... 100 Bullets by Azzarello and Risso... Cant wait for their run on Batman starting in October

On the real

yoink, that poster was of Batman, almost a silhouette, beaten up, ripped up clothing, with a light behind him. Prettyvague, I know.

i know what that is.. it's on the cover to the trade paperback verison of the dark knight returns. they were giving em out at the premiere of the movie in washington dc, and i got a copy

the show was cool... basically a review of all the major comics and influences they had/influences on them. If you never got into some of the characters, it was interesting. For instance, i didn't know green lantern was anti-capitalist.
