Led Zeppelin Black Sabbath Neil Young Electric Light Orchestra Pink Floyd (the early 60's stuff, intensely trippy, before Sid Barrett when insane) Jefferson Airplane And, of course, Hendrix As for the 80's, Def Leppard and GNR were the best bands.
