Damn my trainers make it onto 12oz again! Shit. That is Carve/Nail striking a pose in front of the panel (RIP - he passed away last year after getting hit by a train) and those are my Nikes. Good old days right there.

RIP CARVE - If you ever ride the Connex Networkers, Nail is the dude with scratch tags on every no smoking sticker on those train.

Air Max Lights by the look of it Bob? I'd kill for a pair of them nowadays....

Had a few people say the same thing! Those would be fresh from Frank Johnson's sports in Brixton.

Just checked through all the Nikes on there and I couldnt find them... They're also the ones who turned me away thinking that I didnt have a clue what I was talking about.

They must be out of stock - as far as I know, Nike have now ended their re-run...

Oh well, worth a shot.

And the funny thing was they weren't that popular in their day, as everyone was going crazy for the Adidas Torsion range of trainers. All me mates had torsions and I was out of fashion with Air Max's. Then everyone started wearing purple wallabees and it was all over.

Since them I've only ever had Nike trainers too. Good 15 years of Nikes that is

Went in and tried some on today... they dont do half-sizes though, doh! So I'm gonna see if I can get some online that will fit me properly. Just thought I would keep you updated ;-)

As this thread has now been hi-jacked, are there any other oldschool trainers that I might like to keep an eye out for? Gwan you old timers... share the knowledge!
