misteraven
when you get back, copy them back onto the camera, plug the camera into the mac. might take a bunch of times to get them all transferred over, but it's the simplest way. if the mac is running os x, it'll auto mount the camera with no additional software or configuration. Zack Morris
networking the 2 conputers together would be the most energy efficient solution. The second best would be loading the pictures from the laptop back onto the digital camera and then transfering them to the pc.

CAPiTA
just network the computers with a cat5 crossover wire (make sure its not straight-through, or else it won't work unless you're using a hub/switch/router/bridge/repeater)...wait, are they both macs? if so, just transfer it over firewire at blazing speeders. its really not that difficult if you're just transfering a gig. and don't use one of those keychain dealers, you'd have to buy a huge one, and it would take a long time. networking is cheaper, faster, and easier. trust me, i'm almost cisco certified. CAPiTA
Originally posted by Scott LaJock those things are total garbage I agree, i don't know why you would spend like $100+ on one of those retard-o-gadgets when you could buy a portable hard drive that is LITERALLY 320 times the size for the same price. The only use for one is if you bought a 16mb one for like 30 or 40 and used it like a large floppy disc, but that would still be dumb.
