study pages, anything ... it would be cool to see. i like older comic stars when they have had 100's diffrent artists doing the art work over the years.

like in the late 80's early 90's with McFarlen doing it.

Laszlo Moholy-Nagy

 

Born in Hungary, Moholy-Nagy was, like Muche, a member of "Der Sturm". He joined the Bauhaus from 1923-1928, taking over for Itten. Besides leading the "Metal" workshop he also devoted much of his time to typography and photography. He worked in close collaboration with his wife, photographer Lucia Moholy. Starting in 1937 he led the New Bauhaus in Chicago and subsequent design schools.

got to say the rosenquist show was fresh.. the sculptural shit sucked ass.. but the paintings and sketches were off the hook..

definitely can see how he utilized his experience as a billboard painter.
