ETHREADZNY
I NEVER REALLY WAS NEVER CONCERNED WITH MY IMAGE, BUT I THINK IT IS ABOUT TIME, NOW THAT I AM GROWING MAN TITS. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE GAINED A MASS AMOUNT OF WEIGHT SINCE HIGH SCHOOL> ITS BEEN 7yrs since I HAVE BEEN OUT, BUT I THINK GAINING 55 pounds since high school is a little to much. TheTruthHrtz
Do cardio for at least 15 minutes 3-4 times a week. Try and work your way up to 30 minutes. Sit ups won't help you lose weight - it will help tone your stomach muscles but you won't be able to tell visually unless you lose the fat first. TheTruthHrtz
Yeah man, jogging, bike, treadmill, anything that will get your blood pumping and make you sweat. I should have also added that lifting weight-increasing your muscle mass-will also help your body burn consume calories faster thus helping you lose weight. mapo returns
c'mon fool. you dont know how to get in shape? heres an idea - exercise. lift weights too since muscle burns calories. what do you think, theres some magic program to get in shape? do cardio..it makes no difference if its on a bike or treadmill or a sidewalk. your body just knows its moving so it burns calories for energy..it doesnt care what youre moving on. ETHREADZNY
its not that I dont know how to get in shape, that is obvious. It is the time spent on each exercise, and the right kind of exercise for what I want to do. I dont give a shit about becoming tone. I just want to become healthier and lose my gut. LOL!! Not laughing at you but "man tits" makes me laugh. I started getting man tits too from gaining so much weight a while back but I lost 40lbs, hooray. Eating right and lots and lots and lots of working out time. Feel great now though. You can always take the easy way out and do what Plastyk suggested. Throw up everything you eat. RumPuncher
I've dropped about 25 pounds since my 'fatass peak' about 8 months ago. Here's my few tips... - Dont eat before bed. - Eat smaller portions but more often. That boosts metabolism. - Water, lots of it. - Drink 'summer beers' like Sol or Corona. Avoid the stouts. - Drink at least a quart of water first thing in the morning. It gets you moving. Here's something I never though I'd share with you fools... I'm thinking about doing a colon clensing. Apparently you can haul around 5-25 pounds of fecal matter in your colon at any time. They say 'Death begins in the colon' and losing all that crap will help every other system in your body function better.
XxSugarxX
Originally posted by Kilo7- Here's something I never though I'd share with you fools... I'm thinking about doing a colon clensing. . are you talking about when they suck all the crap outta your rear with a big hose? because if you are, that's the worst possible thing you can do to your body. When they suck out your fecal stuff, it also sucks out digestive juices you need to aid in food digestion, so after you get that shit done you have to drink your food for about two weeks :( sounds like big time fun, doesnt it;)

RumPuncher
there is a water tube method but you can also just get specific supplements that cleanse internally. And I'm not sure where you got your info but there's no 'digestive juices' or any digestion at all in the colon. By the time food has passed though all your intestines there's nothing left to digest, just a bunch of crap to excrete.
cantbefaded
Man, I weigh about 155 and it makes me sick. I can gain weight for anything. I eat and eat and eat.... and my metabolism just doesn't let me get heavier. Maybe since I quite smoking it'll help me out on a couple pounds? RumPuncher
Age has a lot to do with it too. I've been a bunch of different weights my entire life. I think I was about 180 in the 9th grade but then down to 140 for years, then up to 200 and now back to like 180 again. (note: I've been the same height the entire time.) bye bye buddah belly ! SteveAustin
Before the bike addiction, I gained a bunch of weight. Changing my diet got rid of like 25 lbs. The toning started when I started riding bikes. I didn't really lose any weight when I started riding. Actually I think I've gained like 5 pounds, but its muscle weight...so its all good. so... pay attention to calories on food or percentage of fat and how many portions. drink water. excercise...ride a bike, walk, jog...etc. don't eat after 8pm. eat 4-5 times a day, but considerably smaller portions. edit: oh yea...avoid lots of soda...that shit'll kill ya. one a day is aight. mapo returns
http://www.hps-online.com/images/Big01.jpg'> seriously, colon cleansing looks like a good idea. your body isnt used to alot of the processed foods and crap we eat on a regular basis. alot of times it has to produce mucous to digest it. thats what alot of that shit in the pic is. it stays in the colon along with fecal matter and sometimes parasites. if you cleanse the colon, tell us about it, im curious. ubejinxed
hmm, i've never been really thin and i've always had to work at it some things i do. always have the water bottle on hand, walk, run, ride your bike, take the stairs whenever there is a choice it's better to do shorter cardio sessions every day than kicking your ass less frequently interval training add the weight training find people who are active and go do stuff with them find a cardio activity you enjoy and post naked pictures of your self around your house to motivate you to keep at it. cinnamon toast crunch804
wow... im impressed with the info given a lot of the info is on key. i would stress eater more smaller meals so your metabilism stays stimulated throughout the day. the most important meal of the day is breakfast, it sets the stage for you eating habits for the rest of the day. eat something. your best bet is food with lots of fiber in it, oatmeal is an example. the fiber will help you feel satisfied longer. with the exercising part just do something you enjoy. even if it's skateboarding or rollerblading or playing basketball. if you enjoy doing it you will more then likely continue doing it. and you wont loose it all in a week... a healthy weightloss is 1 to 2 pounds a week

As far as the topic of the thread, pretty much everything mentioned has been really on point. Drinking water is really a big part of things for me. It's cheap, and it cuts out a lot of unecessary bullshit....quit buying junk food. Buy frozen vegetables and the like, you won't just sit and munch on something if you have to prepare it, and it is just better for you hands down....usually cheaper as well.
