may sound like a daft question but how do you edit homemade videos..put sound tracks over,,cut bits out etc..you need some computer equipment im guessing?..any advice / help would be useful...

from my media studies lessons, i can tell you that if you filmed it with a DV, somehow, someway that gets pluged into an ibook or an apple product.

 

the actual editing isa easy. this is a shit reply, so it will self-destruct in 5....4....3....2....1...

if you've got a mac, and like sneak says, have filmed it on DV, get iMovie or final cut pro. iMovie is so simple to use its ridiculous...

Heres goes if you dont have DV. VHS-C: Put the tape into the adapter and put that into the VCR. Plug that into the computer(mac). 8MM: fuck knowz!:D

Premiere sucks major nuts. It's one of the worst editing apps out there.

Sure it's better than iMovie, but it can't touch FinalCutPro of AvidExpressDV.

haha, good point. i think i ment to say that the ideas behind HOW to do the editing - cutting etc, basic stuff - was pretty simple on the Ibook Ive used.
