Guest BROWNer
does anyone have a scannable picture of Jean Crotti's sculpture portrait of duchamp????? preferably an immaculate reproduction if possible, but i'll take anything right now.. its the one made of wire with fabric, some hair, and 2 porcelain eyeballs......? i looked through 27 google image pages plus numerous other duchamp and crotti related sites and still could not find it......which is freaking me out..cuz its not that obscure.. i'm not that sure what its actually called other than 'portrait of duchamp'.. anyone??? please.. RumPuncher
Ce ci n'est pas un post. sorry bro. I can help. Have you tried the library? I'm sure that a certain 'School of Higher Learning' in your City must have an extensive art section in the library.
Guest BROWNer
i have briefly leafed through relevant stuff at the library with no luck. i have a picture of the piece, but its a really crap repro and really small, so no good for scanner styles.. i can't freaking believe that this piece isn't online..fucked up.. Guest imported_El Mamerro
That's exactly what I was thinking of, Browner... the picture in exchange for the balloon song. Dealism? Edit: I'm banking on this. It truly is weird that there isn't much more on this piece around.
Guest BROWNer
mamerro, sure, i'll hook you up regardless.. i'm hitting a few places tomorrow, hopefully.. i'll drop the wordski either way.. thanks again
Guest BROWNer
well, i just got back from a 3.5 hour investigation of all the logical book repositories in my city & came up with squatski. one 'sketch' of it, which was sketched incredibly light..no good. ..and a super puney sized 2 flick repro..the frontal view and a second profile view(dope but both way too small).. all three were b&w too.. bum bum. VAITOMANOCU
Dear Browner, If I think of it, next time I'm up at school I'll do some searching through the stacks.

Guest imported_El Mamerro
Brownerino, no dice. The only mention of the work in the entire library (the link I posted) had a few pictures of it, but all were about 2"x3" big and in black and white and not the greatest quality. I don't know what to say, it's really really strange that there's nothing else. On a lighter note, I purchased ovalcommers, which is absolute fucking greatness. thanks for the suggestion.
