Posted July 18, 200123 yr Anyone on here who skateboards... what's your favorite terrain to skate? I myself like to do curbs and concrete ditches. I did my first ditch for the firt time today. It was wicked fun.
July 18, 200123 yr Author skateparks are starting to attract so many posers now. and they're impossible to cruise around at. i like finding my own spots.
July 18, 200123 yr go downtown... where ever you live, always dope spots downtown , thanks to modern day archtecture
July 18, 200123 yr man... i started skating in... no joke... 86... i sucked. i always sucked, but ihad a shit load of fun so i never cared. my favorite thing was curbs... i liked rail slides alot. simple little rail slides...
July 18, 200123 yr i'm really into transition, especially bowls and mini ramps. street is incredibly fun if you've got good spots, but they are few and far between around here. we just got a new concrete skatepak in town, and it's pretty sick. great bowls.
July 18, 200123 yr frontside boardslides are fuckin great.. i love skating, and it really gets on my nerves that i know i suck compared to all the people that are out there, and then kids are telling me im good..
July 18, 200123 yr skating is alot of fun, i am not very good started about last summer, they just built a new skate park in my town, Vans park but its 14 bucks to get in and the other one thats in town is free

July 18, 200123 yr I HATE PARKS! they suck! I hate waiting my turn I hate the egos I hate them fuck them! I blow at skating, I was ok a lil while back now I just blow.I got nothing
July 18, 200123 yr Curbs, manual pad dealies, stairs. I hate metal ramps, we just don't get along. I need to skate more. ------------------ <- - - -(")- -(")owoop
July 18, 200123 yr i hate parks. around where i live its either fulled with kids that cant skate or people who just chill in the middle of the skatepark. i like finding spots like stairs ledges and so good street skatin
July 18, 200123 yr Personally, I'm all about ledges & trying to pull off clean shit/hard tricks. I've messed with handrails and paid the price a few times -- not my steez. Street skating is the shit -- just jumping on a board and roaming the streets hitting stuff as you go. NYC for sure .. Skatepark of Tampa .. SF has so many spots. July 18, 200123 yr parks?? what the hell is a park?? i started and always skated the downtown landscarpe... the marble ledges... to the court house benches.... getting chased out by security, which was pretty stupid compared to when i was doing graff.. fuck running from a security guard for skating??? stupidest crime ever..... i feel so stupid for running.. i shoulda stayed and told off the toy cop
July 18, 200123 yr concrete, bowls, and backyard miniramps I am jonesing to go skate, if I don't go every three days or so I start to turn into an asshole.

July 18, 200123 yr yep.. just got the largest park in north america built this year. its cool, i hung out with pros.. i felt cool.
July 18, 200123 yr i miss the park at home (melbourne australia). it's in the dead centre of the city, so when you get sick of the transitions and ledges, you can head out to any of the zillion spots around the city. fatness.
July 19, 200123 yr best place to skate is that damn 5 set with a handrail!! ollie norths off the set tailslides down the rail and trying to blunt slid the ledges on the side and fallin on your face on the grass beside the ledge cuz you coulnd mount right... so when you land it your just like hell ya im the shit1
July 19, 200123 yr i used to skate.. still manage to get out there every now an then.. it just sint fun when your better then all your friends you have nothing to really strive for.
July 19, 200123 yr My favorite terrain to skate is ditches. My friends took me to a ditch, which I had never been to before, the other day. It was quite possibly the coolest ditch I have ever seen. It’s very secluded, and some BMX guys have built a couple of concrete transitions and ledges. But the best part, by far, is the fact that this particular ditch is right next to a train track. Now I can skate and bench at the same time. -Al Not waving, but drowning.
July 19, 200123 yr The streets of SF... Downtown manhattan, brooklyn banks before the fence, good cement parks, and a nice big driveway bump. I brought my board to work today..I think a session is in order. RIP PHIL SHAO, KIT ERICSON,TIM BRAUCH,CURTIS HSIANG, KEENAN MILTON,RUBEN.....SKATING THE CLOUDS
July 19, 200123 yr i skated a sick pool last month. went there and bucketed that thing out, swept it and skated it. that was the first time i ever worked to skate a spot so i really appreciated it.
July 19, 200123 yr i skated years ago, quit, and just got sucked back in this summer. 180 variations till i puke.
July 19, 200123 yr Originally posted by Raels: Skatepark of Tampa no doubt, Brian has shit on lock... and I encourage anyone who thinks they have the shit to travel on down to Tampa, there's mad kids up in the cuts to put you down... ------------------ 2 Can Sam
July 19, 200123 yr i started skating way back in 87 or 88.......my favorite will always be legdes and banks. curbs will do, but they get boring a little too quickly. manual pads.anything street. i was never really too into parks and shit....too many little kids, and the public parks usually blow (where i live anyways). street, street, street.........but i would like to work on my park skating a little more...make myself a more well-rounded skater.
