I went to LA last week to shoot Coachella for the LAWeekly and OCWeekly. That was really cool, but I'm more proud of the following photos I took at Dodgers Stadium on Jackie Robinson Day:

Went to Gary, Indiana to do some painting and take some shots of decrepit stuff. I only brought a 28mm manual focus lens so all three of these are stitches from multiple images. 28mm is more like 40mm on a crop sensor so it was a pain to get wide angle shots. Didn't wanna be walking around with a ton of gear as Gary is a shithole. Haven't really had a chance to edit through it all. Here are a few that I liked off the bat.

Flash duration!

the shorter your flash duration the less motion blur. That's getting into some real nerd shit though that's really hard to understand. I have a tiny grasp of it but cant explain it. Unless your dropping 15,000 grand on a Broncolor scoro pack with a head or a profoto Pro-8a 2400 Air you never gonna get really tack sharp freezing.

invest in a laser trigger sometimes it helps if you shooting in pitch black condition and you leave your camera on bulb.

If your shooting with a canon flash this kind of explains flash duration so feel

Check out this video out for shits and giggles. Its about freezing motion
