Jesus of Nazareth

The Douglas Adams appreciation thread ...or... "WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE."

Recommended Posts

I've just recently started through my copy of the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for a second run, and had almost fogotten how good these books are. So... come one, come all, drop your favorite quotes, random thoughts, or whatever else seems appropriate.

Has anyone read any books by DA other than those in the Hitchhiker's series? Whatever happened to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Afterlife?

Anyway, to get the party started....

originally written by Douglas Adams

In the beginning the Universe was created.

This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

"That young girl is one of the least benightedly unintelligent organic life forms it has been my profound lack of pleasure not to be able to avoid meeting."

-Marvin

RIP.

allthough......

i have used the line "we apologize for the inconvienience" so many times its silly.

my personal spin on it when i worked in the hmo industry was......

"regrettably thats not a covered benefit"
