Guest WebsterUno
^^^ yeah, Bob james is what Im looking for. "take me to the masquerade" I want to start looking for old breaking music, and music that people sample. I found that Fat Boys album in the dollar bin. I got it for 3 bucks! Clean too! I got the C&Cs for under $5 bucks each too. I got those for my mom and me. She used to tell me about that rolling paper being hard to find. Found it! Clean too! Vanity
yeah, bob james is all over.. esp his later stuff... i have crushin too. breaking stuff is a bit harder to come by... esp electro (i cant find it anywhere). got my fav record of all time from a dollar bin though don ellis-open beauty you may be better off looking through the 12 inch bin, they're ussually about 3 bucks a peice and arent too dug up because people tend to be pretty lazy. Guest WebsterUno
*believe* Vanity, I remember you posting a pic of a Bob James LP you got for a BUCK! ...wooooo! Don Ellis? I might have to hear it. Breaking music, and samples are also what Im trying to find. Like I want the sample from "B.I.B.L.E" by Gza, and Killa Priest and a few others that I cant think of right now. effyoo
I own 6 albums. 3 I bought in a dollar bin. One of them is an electronic record from 1976. I can't remember the other 2. One is a double album of house music I won off of the radio. The next is a single that a local emcee put out. Vizion 'Innerspace' The last is the best one- Roni Size, his first album. Quadruple vinyl. I dont own a record player so none of them have ever been heard by these ears. Hmph.
