damn. sad face.

 

 

well i ended up seeing trial 108 and pulling teeth.

 

i think the last hardcore show i went to was about a year ago, maybe 9 months... its just not in me anymore. especially for so preachy a show. i used to love trial and what they were about, now i'm just a jaded sell out who really doesn't care. besides that, the show was fucking awesome.

Deep Wound

Deep Wound was a hardcore punk band, which formed in 1982 in Westfield, MA. They are often noted as being, along with Siege, one of the early inspirations for grindcore due the young J Mascis’s (later of Dinosaur Jr.) drumming.

The Formaldehyde Junkies were a 1980s-style hardcore punk (along the lines of the Fix, the Necros, and the FUs) band from Minneapolis. The band featured ex-members of Damage Deposit and Any Last Words.

Gorilla Angreb

Punk band with female vocals from Copenhagen, Denmark, originated from the scene around the Ungdomshuset. The band was formed after the Danish punk band Amdi Petersens Armé was dissolved i 2002. Peter from Amdi Petersens Armé started the band with Mai, Banger and Retardo (who got his name after having played in Los Retardos). Broke up in 2007 when Mai decided to leave.
