And Punk shit is the reason hardcore came to exist in the first place, which then unfortunately provided the terrible side genre of numetalcore. Then all the posers jumped on the band wagon for that so they could have an outlet for their rage by flailing their arms around, doing roundhouse kicks, and singing along to terrible choruses about being tough and straight edge.
