People starving in Korea; must be America's fault. People being treated like fucking animals in the Middle East; must be America's fault. Madmen building weapons that could kill all of us with the press of a button; must be America's fault for allowing these dickheads to take power in the first place. The fact of the matter is that no matter what we do now, people all over this fucked up planet are going to hold us accountable for their own shortcomings as a society, as leaders and as poeple. I'M GETTING EXTREMELY SICK OF THESE FRENCHMAN WHO FEEL THAT THEY ACTUALLY HAVE A SAY IN WHAT'S BEST FOR THE WORLD. THESE PEOPLE ARE SELFISH AND HAVE OBVIOUSLY FORGOTTEN THAT IF NOT FOR US, THEY WOULD MOST LIKING BE SPEAKING GERMAN AND LOOKING AT PICTURES ON THEIR WALLS OF A MAN NAMED HITLER. I think that those people should wake up and smell the coffee. We are under attack right now. Our whole way of life. My life hasn't directly been affected, but imagine the day the day when we can no longer express the way we feel on walls because suicide bombers are lurking everywhere. They probably walk the streets of NYC right now, waiting for the right time. waiting for when were at our weakest to strike. I will admit that thought of all this actually goes through my brain at least once a day. This counrty can't do everything for everyone, but we have done a pretty good job of helping out those who are in need of assistance, just like were about to do in a lawless shithole where these people have no rights at all. They have a fairly effective armed forces, and they are a "nuclear power." In fact, they way things are going, every tin pot dictator in the world will soon have nuclear weapons. Not much to be done about it, either, unless we want to actually demonstrate that we are willing to use ours, and I don't think George W. is that stupid. I no longer fear getting attacked by our )formerly) formidable enemy, Russia. The Russians want what everybody wants---a decent life, an apartment, maybe a car, a dependable food supply. The Iranians, Iraqis, Syrians, etc. have a different agenda, however. The U.S. cannot long maintain it's status as the world's only superpower. The tenuous nature of that status doesn't depend upon the American people or even the U.S. Government so much as it depends upon the needs and plans of the power elite that influence world affairs. "Blood for Oil" is too simple. It's much more complicated than that. Right now the U.S. enjoys a high standard of living, stable government, low inflation, etc., etc. But this is far from guaranteed, and if it suited the interests of the Rockefellers, the Mellons, the DuPonts, etc. we would be plunged into a Depression little different from the Crash of '29. There is a big difference between genuine capitalism and the psuedo-socialist, welfare-for-the-rich system we "enjoy" today. If you really want to see a view of the system you've never seen before, read "The Creature from Jekyll Island," or "The Case Against the Fed." It explains EXACTLY how things managed to become so loaded in favor of the super-ruling-class. James Warburg ("Daddy Warbucks") was the agent for the Rothschild interests in the United States in 1910. Empires were built, fortunes made, a country economically enslaved, all while our great-grand-parents slept peacefully. It was planned in a secret meeting of world financiers on Warburg's estate, on Jekyll Island, Georgia. From the Romans, and the Celts throught to Charlemagne and later Napoleon, France has always been a major political power in the world. Their cultural influence is incredible. They survived the dark ages and moved into the renaissance. Now what was the USA doing up untill that point? We have proven through out the last 100 years that without us, there would be no civilized world. I appreciate what France has one in the past. They were once a great power in this world and they definitely do have a rich culture, but let's not forget that this country is the only reason why the french say that they come from France. To respond to the point that they are a civilized, major power in the world, you are just stating something that isn't true. We can agree that both the US and France have had major contributions to the modern western way of life, but they also suffer from terrorist attacks. Asides from Sept.11, how many times have foreign terrorists attacked the states? Even during wars against legitimate enemies like Japan, America has only been attacked a handfull of times. France however is dealing with a major terrorist threat from Algeria. They have to deal with that shit everyday and the nation is being hurt by the racism and anti-semitism that somes along with it. America is not the only country that is held hostage by terror. I can only imagine what's going to happen to Australia. but let's not forget that this country is the only reason why the french say that they come from France. wrong again. America didn't get into the second world war until very late in the game. There are millions of people starving in north korea, one of the reasons is that the US has imposed trade sanctions, just like in Iraq and Cuba. 2. there are horrible atrocities commited in some middle eastern countries, Afghanistan for example, where the taliban instituted the Islamic Sharia law. an extremely oppresive interperetation of the Qu'aran, and prior to the September 11 attacks the USA was in support of the Taliban, funneling aid to them etc. 3. I suppose by "madmen" that you mean the likes of Saddam Hussein, who not only was armed to the teeth with a deadly arsenal by the US in the 80's, was also helped in to power by the US, who continue to support him by allowing US oil companies to purchase oil from Iraq. 4. imagine the day when we can no longer express ourselves? what abou that guy arrested in Albany NY, for wearing a shirt that aid "give peace a chance" that day has already come. They all are annoyed at not being the biggest World Leader, and everybody would love to see us take a fall. Which we will, eventually. Look at the faded power of Spain and Portugal, of Italy (not to mention the Roman Empire,) of all the formerly powerful European colonizers. Who will rise in our place? My guess is India and China. The future is a war between China and and Indo-European culture. The Indo-Europeans will pressure Russia from the west, China from the east, and the vast, virtually unoccupied stretches of eastern Russia and Siberia will become populated by the Chinese encroaching from the east. Australia will someday be a mostly Muslim country, populated in the north coast and much of the interior by people from Indonesia and that part of the world. Present-day Australians may hold the southern coasts and part of the south. There is little alternative. Australia is disarmed, and the birth rate is very low. Indonesia has a large, powerful army and their birthrate is extremely high. There is only one direction for them to reasonably go--south to Unoccupied Australia. The present United States will be mostly Latino. This process may take longer than in Russia or Australia, but with a faltering sense of national integrity, and massive illegal immigration, in 100 years or 200 years, it is likely that most of the western and central United States will speak Spanish.
