SteveAustin
I'm FREE I'm one of the few that doesn't carry a balance on my CCs. I paid my student loans off about 8 months after graduating. My car and some furniture I bought last summer will both be paid off in a couple of months. Its gonna seem like free money.

!@#$%
i got into debt when i absolutely had to... charged my colllege education.. worked better than loans, cuz i was working constantly to pay it off... never let it get tooooo ahead of me...i think about 4K was the worst it ever got.. now i have zero debt but i use discover...1% cash back on your purchases, i never pay finance charges cuz i pay it off, i pay the bill online, and i use my credit card to buy all the shit i need, except food, online.. it works ok.. got a pair o' plane tickets last friday.. but yeah, credit cards require Willpower, Discipline, and Restraint.. good luck
Guest imported_El Mamerro
My credit card allowed my broke ass to book an impulse flight to Puerto Rico next week. Thank you VISA, and thank you Priceline. DPC PR Boat Squadron will be in full fucking effect, son.
RumPuncher
^ see that's why it's good to have a credit card with available credit. If something comes up that you just cant resist, liek a trip out of the frozen tundra, you can actually go for it! Some things pop up and it's not like you know to start saving 6 months ago. That's the image thay try to sell for most of the credit companies. Urgency and Impulse. Oh well.... for a boat adventure, it's money well spent. RumPuncher
update... I keep paying, but they just dont seem to go away! Debt is so depressing. I almost felt like robbing the bank then stopping to make a payment on my way out. Then I'd be assured a spot on 'Stupid Criminals Caught on Tape' and when I get my tax refund... It's all going to the cards too! :twitch:
Ski Mask
the staff over in "your" bank are doing lots of bizarre things lately. they fucked up all atm payments to our card from their machines, and now all the customer service staff are explaining it to them like its OUR fault. nope, we didnt do a damn thing. they were so late notifying our network we already had internal memos about the problem from so many customers calling in about it. way to be on the ball.... bah. why do I even care? thats what working here does to you... RumPuncher
When I was in today I asked the teller if there was anyway to link my cc to the atm so I could make payments. "Not without an account" I'm already pissed at these guys, why the hell would I sign up for an account with them? ese... I got sent a application for an amex platinum. Should I even bother trying to apply?
