im new here well not really i am what they used to call HELLSATAN the king of bad nicknames

korn, sure, six years ago. i wont deny i liked them a lot, six years ago. alkaline trio is probably the best fake emo band out there, and they do a very good job of covering up being emo, even calling themselves punk and such, but, you know, it gets repetitive. musically it is sound. they can play their instruments. but like, when you whine about how a girl made you drink so much beer and now she can get the fuck out of your life over and over, i get sick of hearing it. same with modern-day OI. it's all "we've got our pride and they hate us for it so we need to fight they attack us, rise up and stand your ground brothers". In every song. let's see at least a little variation. i've heard two complete alk3 albums the full way through numerous times. and i've heard plenty of matt skiba solo. it doesn't appeal to me one bit beyond the fact that the sound of their instruments is not bad at all. you're allowed to listen to alk3 till you bleed if it tickles your fancy.

everyone liked korn for a year when they were cool and you were the only kid in the 5th grade who had even heard of them. i liked marylin manson for a period of time. people and interests change. (which is what i wish alk3 would do).

anywho, do whatever you want.

the top 5 is not for the words you are spewing pitts flavor.

*edit; gotta love the new smilies.:nut: :spin: :loopy:

at least i didnt call them gay or pussies. or type in all capitals. differences of opinion occur, and the two parties must agree to disagree. and i like to talk and give facts. shoot me.

everyone needs to quiet down and listen to the bridge of "full disclosure" by fugazi. orgasmvillie...
