Yeah i don't know how it is now, there will always be alot of upset okinawans there. Just like every other country there will always be those that dont want Americans there, and those who are very friendly, and those who dont mind at all. They dont like to be called Japanese, because alot of the japanese were racist against them for being darker then them. I dunno. Yeah when i was out there awhile there was alot of protesting of kicking all the u.s. military off the island because a marine had raped a young okinawan girl. This was like 6-7 years ago. I remember when we would go shopping they would always follow the americans around, because they were afraid we would steal, but yeah i dont blame them i was stealing clothes. Hrmm i wouldnt just say it was the blacks raping and assulting women, or just the navy branch. The island was only 30 miles in width and 70 miles wide. No i dont remember any graff there. I really liked it there is was beautiful, i could see the ocean no matter where i was, and the ocean was clear and blue. I wouldnt mind going there again.
