Music should be free, if the people who make it dont recieve enough grattification from just performing - they shouldnt be doing it, becuase they arent enjoying it. By this logic novelists, theater performers, artists and musicians should all create their art for the love of it, and then give it away. I'm not judgmental. I've racked stuff, and I spraypaint people's buildings and trains. All my friends download tunes and we're still friends. I just think you should have a clear understanding of what you're doing, which is racking from artists, and accept that, rather than coming up with a bullshit rationalization of why your perceived pipeline of free goodies should stay open.
