Ok I have to give him props for writing for so long...much respect. and it does seem to be his thing and doing it in Europe. It's just not my thing.

got popular in america...it was popular 20 years ago.what the fuck are you talking about..

my point is, for an old style, a really old style, to come back is kinda like a digressin in graff not a progression. sorry kids.

His style is not "coming back", he did it for twenty years!

petro has been doing the same style for tewnty years. you call that something to be proud of. like I said respect for 20 years of graff. but progression and inovation are the foundation of this graff movement.

the other guy said petro has infleuenced america to do this style..the style came from america over twenty years ago...what is he talking about.

In graffiti, either you stick with the style youre doing and you get called on for not progressing. If you progress, you get called on for not having a style.

I think what the other guy was trying to say is that, "that style" Petro and other folks were pushing hard in Europe for years, they actually did it so well and so much that it made a comeback in the states, often labelled as "euro-style", even though it originally came from the states many many years ago.

I'm that other guy. Just to clarify Petro hasn't done this style for 20 years none stop and isn't stuck in some time warp like you are implying. He has done many different styles and through a progression has ended up with this style. Yes you are very right a similar style to this came from America a long time ago and a "funk" letter style seems to be getting popular again. It is getting popular again because of people like Petro. Note in my original post I never said it didn't come from America, did I? So what exactly are talking about? What is your point? Anyway Europe has summed it all up nicely in the post above me.

DTB is an OLD crew! Dating back to the late 80's I think, I believe it was formed by Sham 59.

THIS STYLE HAS NEVER "GONE OUT". YOU STILL HAVE OLD SCHOOL WRITERS LIKE DEZ AND SEEN WHO STILL ROCK SHIT. THEY ARE NOT USING ANY ARTSIE FARTSIE TYPE STYLE, THEY ARE STILL USING ORIGINAL OLD SCHOOL FLAVOR. NOT TO MENTION ARAB TC5, BUT WHERE DO YOU THINK HIS SHIT COMES FROM......DONDI!!!!

THESE ARE ALL CLASSIC WRITERS THAT YOU DONT EVEN COME CLOSE TO BURNING! SO IN A FEW YEARS WHEN YOUR DONE "PROGRESSING" WE'LL SEE WHERE YOU STAND!! BOW DOWN!!!

I'm ready to do my thang!!

Petro is realy getting into that style i think he's realy found his groove with this one.

Best thing about those new molotow paints is you can pull of those old school color schemes unlike montana which is kind of crass in the color selection (maybe this done with montana if so i'll go cut a slice of humble pie?) need to get down south and check more of this thang!
