If you are I suggest you stop driving, start advocating the ban of handguns and firearms, stop smoking, watch what you eat and definitley avoid lightning storms......as well as shark infested waters...... Because your far more likely to be killed by those things than a terrorist. Are you afraid of losing your civil rights and freedoms? Talk to the bush ashcroft admin on that one. They set you back not the terrorists. Are you afraid of losing your american way of life? Cause you know. A handfull of terrorists is definitley going to invade and take over the country. Are you afraid of your goverment.... No? Well you should be. As pointless as this thread probably seems.....starting a war is all bad. And if you advocate starting a war to protect yourelf, then in my opinion thats a whiney little bitch move and you want american soldiers to die, civilians and children to die, just so you can feel better that a man with no hard evidence of connection to the terrorists is out of power. Keep in mind we armed that man and that once in land far far away, known as the 80s, considered him our allie. Open your eyes. Your country......Your homeland.....Your schools hospitals, police departments and fire stations are going broke under the bush administration. Do you really feel war is going to make you safer? Besides that, Iraq and most of the middle east is a very young region country wise. The history of the united states is far from perfect....slavery, massacre and theft of land from native americans, no civil rights for women.....so why not let Iraq develop at its own will. The will of its people. Would you not feel safer if those 180,000 US troops were deployed near refineries, resovoirs, factorys, chemical plants, nuclear plants and anyother potential terrorist target? Dont you think we should spend the 70 BILLION dollar war budget on proctecting the actual homeland? ehh....im not really even antiwar. War is war. It happens. What I am is anti undemocratically elected morons that have abused cocaine and alchohol having the power to start one and driving our country into the dirt. When Winston Churchill advocated taking Adolf Hitler out before "the war" he was called a war monger. So instead Hitler grew in power and influence and was able to practically destroy Europe. The reasoning for the other countries was that Hitler wasn't doing enough to them at the time. The US is not going to spend billions of dollars to kill women and children bridges and roads only to have to build them back up. Iraq is an og motherfucker of a country. You got the Iran Iraq war and the Gulf war in the last 20 or so years. Iraq as a country has lost huge casualties recently, somthing we have not. Iraq under hussein used chemical weapons in both the iran iraq war and against the kurds. The reason i dont think he used them in the gulf war is due to the fact we were never trying to dethrone him. If he had used them, we would of dethroned him. With the goal currently being to oust his psycho bitch ass we armed to the teeth whats to stop him from killing as many people as he can. Belive he will use nerve gass and anthrax against us troops. Belive he will launch scuds with chemical payloads at israel and belive that the iraqi people do not want us to invade. And to see the other argument....fine he leaves power and we assist in setting up a new goverment in iraq. do you think hes gonna go live a happy nonviolent life and not do anything and everything to attack americans at home in retaliation for ousting him? And in all actuallity, im down to take iraq from hussein. I lived in saudi and know first hand what a fucker that bastard is. However I completely refuse to let the bush administration do it. When we called the iraqis to over throw him, they tried and we did nothing as they were completely massacared. and let me state again, this whole wmd deal is bullshit. we as a country said nothing when he used wmds against kurds and iran.
