Asylum: revisited (the lost photos)

before i start this thread off i want to thank Contwo, Mis, and Rage for meeting up and going. it was nice to meet some new people while i was up there. you guys rule. an extra shoutout for Rage because he was so kind as to wait forever and then scan these photos for me. if it weren't for him you wouldn't be seeing these for a long time. hopefully in the future we'll be able to go again.

this is the latest trip taken to the asylum a few months ago. there was another thread about it (http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/showthrea...ighlight=asylum) but i felt it would be nice to make a new thread since it has been a while. so here it is - an abandoned Jersey asylum.

here is a pseudo-panoramic shot i took upon leaving the scene. the day was dreary and perfect for such an occasion.

a front view of the asylum. quite ominous.

view from the inside looking out. it felt much more like a prison than a place to recover from mental illness.

more to be posted shortly. stay tuned.

yeah, man, theres some good stuff here.

i wish i could have gone back in the day.

one thing i would suggest, is try focusing on different things. especially in long hallways and stuff. focus on something very close, or very far, or in the middle, whatever, just try finding different points of interest and using the rest as a blurry sort of matt, for the photos....

but then again, what do i know.

each and every photo gave me an eerie feeling. at one point i got goosebumps.

a job well done. i love all the photos mang. i was wondering if there is a way that i can get hard copies of these photos. i would like to add it to my collection at home. i frame photos and work that people give to me. let me know if you would want to trade or something.
