Well, not really... they just don't seem to be interested in pushing the envelope anymore... instead of continuing to mock pop, they joined it with a facade of "stripping down" their sound. Their new stuff doesn't sound as fresh, but they're still making some amazing songs... I'm just disappointed that people didn't enjoy the direction they were headed. They didn't have much of a choice, it was either change or be labeled as has beens trying to be "hip". The theme they made for "Gangs of New York" is BADASS.
