menos
im sitting here enjoying one of these tasty treats and im wondering if any of you have any low-cost recipes (sp?)(i read the ramen ones and those are pretty good), im in dire need of some new cheap food (other than fastfood, because i dotn eat that), otherwise i might die of starvation due to that fact that im tired of the same old stuff.. please post away! BoB Hope ONER
personally. i like cheese sandwiches.. but not necessarily grilled. take a bagel.. plain is fine. scoop. it.. ( its a new york thing. take a spoon take out the dough bread in the center.. toast it some cucumber slices. some dijonaise. some mixed greens. mesculin works fine. some onion. a salad dressing... caesar is nice but i like a whipped vinagrette. muenster cheese or cheddar.. not to sharp. (vermont perhaps) close with other half. cut into quadrants.. eat counter clockwise on an oblong plate and move seats at a 4 person round table after each quadrant of the sandwich is complete. im telling you.. best sandwich ever.. oh and lots of ketchup. Zack Morris
ok here's my grilled cheese variation, ok put a slice or r of mozzerela cheese with a little parmesean and provolne. cook that bad mamajama up with a mixture of garlic powder and oregeno. heat up some speghetti sauce, and if your a meat eater a few meat balls and viola you have an italian grilled cheese sandwich. another cool thing to dow ith fried sandwiches is take your slice of bread and use a cup to cut a circle out of the center, butter both side of the bread. scramble an egg but don't cook it yet. now place the bread in a hot skillet and pour your scramlbed egg into the hole and fry that sumbich up. that is the breakfast of kings right there. brown twinkie
here's a little chow down festival i like to attend once in awhile.... cook up some rotini or fusilla... grab a can of campbells mushroom soup, and make it with half a can of 2% milk... add a big spoonful of salsa to that puppy.... some pepper... some basil, preferably fresh off the stem... add a mountain of shredded mozza, harvarti, monterey jack or cheddar...this is optional, but worth it. pour the soup out onto the pasta in your favourite large bowl... then dice up some cold fresh tomato kibblies and toss 'em on top... cheap ass and tastay.
