The 5-Year-Plan

So everyone knows the term "5-Year-Plan" ?

they always said that You dont plan to fail, you just fail to plan

so where do you want to be in 5 years ???

- be entirely out of debt with enough cash for a property downpayment.

- master my work craft and have better stats on my resume.

- able to beat most competitors at billiards and be proficient on the harmonica.

- hopefully be approaching a new milestone of sobreity

- I'd like to say in love with my dreamgirl, but you never know.

ok, so i don't have a solid plan, but here's a few tidbits:

-approaching my final year of apprenticeship (unless something better comes along)

-driving a slammin' 300ZX

-working on educating kids about littering (it's a long story, and it sounds funny, but trust me - something needs to be done) or educating the educators

-getting that business my friend and I have planned way off the ground because we'll definately have enough capital by then

-capitalizing off environmentalism in one way or another

-playing PS3 on the weekends while strippers snort candy off my penis

I'm focusing so much on finding the dream girl, that I've been trying to become proficent at the art of the pick-up. (billiards sounds fun, but that can wait until I am a permanent member of the Liesure Class)

I bought my first house right after I turned 22 while making $9.50 an hour and no help from anybody, so I'm planning on capitalizing on the equity that gentrification has brought me to invest in more property, and get the plans for my own business off the ground.

If I can achieve a decent level of sobriety and find the dream girl, I'll be able to do anything.

It will be a plus if I can gain the respect of many of my peers, and find one lifelong friend that I can totally relate to. (this might sound corny to some people, but I hope you never experience the type of loss that will make you appreciate the fact that this may be one of the most important aspects of a sucessfull life)

I know this is pretty general, but the specifics and kind of irrelevant I think.

after a little thought. an addition. I want to have my ultimate dream studio complete with all the mad scientist hardware that I need to create to my hearts content. Don't necessarily care if I'm showing in galleries or even selling for that matter. Everything I've ever done, I've done for myself.

Exactly everything Zesto said, minus the harmonica thing. I wish I'd kept up with billiards during college... I was murderous during high school, playing during lunch period at the pub with old dudes. I played last week at a dive nearby, and I was awfully awful.

Oh, and I expect to get my motorcycle license, as well as a motorcycle, much sooner than in 5 years. Beer,
