Selling product is better than selling service. The former scales far easier and you can literally do it in your sleep. The latter has a lower ceiling considering everyone has the same 24 hours and the complexities of logistics and success are exponential as it scales upwards.

Should seem obvious but wish I’d taken this to heart 20 - 25 years ago instead of trying to make up for it now.

On that note, anyone know where @KaBar is?

Honestly, one of the most invaluable things in the 21st century is self-learning. There are so many resources out there online that you can fully take advantage of and land you a job. Just to list a few off my head:

https://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm, https://www.khanacademy.org/, https://www.udemy.com/, https://www.studypug.com/glossary.html, etc.

If you fully commit yourself to learning a particular skill and demonstrate it through a personal project, many employers will look into hiring you (especially in the software field).

Interesting. Makes sense in terms of growing a business... but do you think that necessary makes it 'better'?

Well, “better” is inherently a subjective term. But if the goal is to make more money or at least to make money with less individual involvement, than yeah. Probably better.

For real, I didn’t word that very well. Just interesting coming from someone whose done so much cool stuff.

Pull a large popcorn out of the trash at any UA theater and get a free refill and request a new bucket..

Many theaters now have this weird perforated tag and when you go refill they pull one of the tabs off. They also limit to two refills, so trick won't work at all theaters. Was a big chain (forget which one) so guessing this trick wont last much longer for those thinking they can save like $8 on a large popcorn the next time they go see a movie.
