There are plenty of areas of belief where the right and the left viewpoints cross-pollinate. Both sides often agree on some issue ("the Kennedy assassination was a conspiracy", "the Kennedy assassination was a coup d'etat") but are looking at the same piece of history from two different perspectives.

 

Not only George W. Bush, but ALL Presidents are essentially meat puppets. They move their mouths, but the Establishment speaks without moving it's lips. A guy like Al Gore isn't some knight in shining armor. He would sell his own mother if the Power Establishment told him to do so.

 

That is not to say that our country is completely a puppet show, but often what we see on television or read in newspapers or in books published by the large, up-Eastern publishing houses is more-or-less manufactured for manipulating the public and it's opinions. You are 100% correct when you state that the real control is in the hands of international finance. The people pulling the strings are "stateless." They could not care less what happens to any particular country. They are exceptionally opposed to the Second Amendment. The last thing they want is for the peasants to be armed. To them, the main value of the U.S. is a safe, stable place to park their money. But Germany would do as well, or Switzerland, or the Bahamas.

 

And if American steel industry needs to be destroyed so they can make a buck importing Japanese steel, or Korean steel, or Malaysian steel, that's just too fucking bad. "Rust Belt?" No big problem. A few years later and those super-expensive riverside properties can be picked up for a song as "brownfields." Hell, the U.S. government will even pay you to clean them up! It's "Free" Enterprise at it's best!

 

The best thing you can do to help yourself and to help your country and to help the cause of Liberty is to LEARN, LEARN, LEARN all you can about it, from as many different sources as you can.

 

"They" don't want you to study what they are doing. "They" want you to sit around getting fucked up, listening to mind-blunting music and act like the proverbial prole. (Read "1984." Kabar i think you and i made some good points here and i hope it inspires others on here to utilize THE INTERNET to research these issues. I do want to touch on the conflict of free speech. Its funny because i can recall a time in clinton's administration when they were trying to incite some bullshit ass internet privacy act??? wellhere is a good example of a media blackout or rather what i was talking about kinda in the "thats not a lifestyle kid" thread. It always starts with some socio-threatening issue such as kiddie porn on the net. Damn that was some good science Kabar,very well put. I completely agree with you on the whole corporate thing, look at how they are destroying america. I agree that we give the president too much credit as well. We all know theyre all meat puppets, democrat or republican. I was like you but in reverse. I was very conservative and was the "love it or leave it" type despite being raised by a family who taught me that white america was the root of all my ills. I guess I became that way as a teen because I was never given the proper outlet or info to educate me on the issue, so I rebelled because Id seen the bad side of the left as well( those wannabe che clowns who use this viewpoint as a substitute for a personality). Any ways after getting into school and reading a lot, then applying it to what I have seen and known in my young life I became a lot more left leaning although I dont consider myself a liberal, just a logical person. I saw the wrongs of america by having neighbors and friends from central america, working with kids from cambodia and laos who are shit in america, and tracing back my own families tribal historyand our treatment by america. Kabar, if you have any good books please tell me them, Im due for a trip to the library, Id appreciate it. The sad part is I TRULY BELIEVE IN FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY, and I feel the american political system is destroying these ideals. I would be the first to shed blood for these ideals if they were truly being upheld, but I dont see much of it here in America.
