Daim pulls off alot of nice clean 3d pieces (but after a while I got real bored of them)... loomit, not so much... I think Totem is better with the 3d than alot of the euro cats... (although sometimes I think he just says "fuck the letters" when it comes down to it.) and delta is definitly left out... the MESS piece he had with each letter trying to kill the one next to it was hot.. another cat that has brought some interesting changes to the sometimes boring 3D is NECK (even though the majority of his pieces are the same outline now adays) He's been gettin real creative with ways to change that 1 outline though, I'll give him that much... I like these joints. Guest duh-rye-won Posted September 19, 2002 Share Posted September 19, 2002 i'm going to complain a little now it bums me out that 3-d styles are hated on so hard. 99% of anything i draw or paint has form to it. i dont really like to draw flat designs or cartoons. never did. i like to create the illusion of 3-d on a 2-d surface. i have nothing but respect for traditional graf styles, and i paint traditional burners too. it just pisses me off that when i rock 3-d shit its considered a trend, and i'm jumping on a bandwagon. did hesh and daim influence me in the early 90's? hell yeah. so did a lot of dope writers. i guess i just should be true to myself and not care about haters, but 3-d nerds have feelings too!
