does it make sense that somebody would set off a nuke

unprovoked with the almighty usa just waiting to jump on

iraq? how about israel with its 400+nukes? oh but wait,

saddam is a 'madman', demonized for a decade plus by

western media. is he a fuck? yea. is he an idiot? doubt it.

 

 

pistol: i didn't say anything more than iraq was not responsible for

kicking out the inspectors at the end of '98. they were ordered out

by the US.

here's something to think about: back in april or whatever bush

came out and told the whole world that he ordered the CIA to do covert

ops in iraq, with the intent to remove saddam. at the time the national security

card was getting used for damn near everything...still is...now...think

about that...why would they come out and tell the whole world something like that?

Does this have any relevance to the discussion at hand? Don't make assumptions regarding why I am getting my education, when the only reason I brought it up in the first place was to answer your statement re: political science. It's a real stretch for you to use your lack of an education to your advantage.

The weopons inspectors were from the UN not the US so the US requests although carrying lot's of weight would not be an order.

 

 

I just think people got to get their priorities and heads straightened out if you find yourself standing up for Saddam Hussein. I mean if you think the US has been an evil tyrant take a look at Saddam. This guy gasses his own people (civilians) when they oppose his dictatorship. This guy assasinates hundreds of people that oppose him or that might be strong enough with the people of Iraq. This guy shot off SCUD missiles at Israel (aimed at civilians once again) during the Persian Gulf War even though they were not involved what so ever.

 

You should stop arguing with xbox and follow the

Before the industrial revolution people really WORKED for a living and plowed fields of dirt to grow food to sell or to get nourishment and yeah sloughter was for the best and not neccasarily for the profitability of the company. The only people who started this country had simple beliefs and now look at us we are a disgusting mass of pure consumerism and arrogance mixed with some quasi-sense of civli liberty that doesnt really exist but ina bullshit materisl sense.

well dood, i can't really prove that the US ordered them out, likewise you can't prove they didn't, but i have a really fuckin' tasty bullshit detector and i'll take scott ritter's word over richard butler's aussie ass on this...which was unscom inspectors were ordered out by the US government shortly before allied airstrikes of baghdad resumed.

i hope you're thinking hard about the question i posed...

In 1998 he was tesifying to congress that they were not allowed access to the facilites they wanted. He also said there were lot's of ingrediants for chemical and biological weopons that were found. He also gave his view that within months of the inspectors leaving in 98 that Saddam could replenish his arsenal.

2002 Now Iraq has absolutely NO capabilities to produce this stuff. Whoa what a change. Now he's saying at the time they left Iraq had NO means to produce weapons of mass destruction ie. chemical, biological,nuclear. hmm what could bring about such a change?

 

Well Mr. Ritter's "story rights" were bought by a Detroit man. An Iraqi. A member of the same political party as Mr. Hussein. A man that is so closely tied to Hussein that he makes yearly travels to Iraq to visit with members of Saddams inner circle.
