Tribute - O.C., A.G. & Lord Finesse* * - Best Tracks D.I.T.C., which stands for Diggin In The Crates, is an eight member collective of dope MC's and producers. In 2000 they released their self-titled debut. Every member of D.I.T.C. has each had success on their own and have had solo careers or other groups and side projects that have also brought them fame. But when you bring together MC's Fat Joe, Big L, O.C., A.G, and solid, banging production by Show, Buckwild and Lord Finesse and Diamond (who are also MC's) the combination is dope, classic hip hop at its finest. D.I.T.C. is a near perfect album that can be played through without skipping a song and then be rewound and played again without it sounding tired or monotonous. The thing that makes every song so good is the sharp, clever and witty lyrics from the MC's and the banging beats, which were produced entirely by the in house D.I.T.C. producers, except for three Premo tracks, one Rockwilder track and one Ahmed track. Some standouts include "Thick," and its remix, produced by Rockwilder, "Where Ya At," which only features Big Pun and Milano who drop good verses over a thight Show beat, "Way Of Life" and "Da Enemy", which features the winning combination of Fat Joe and Big L, the two Diamond produced joints, "Day One" and "Foundation", both of which feature tight verses from Diamond, Lord Finesse, O.C. and A.G., the solo O.C. joint "Champagne Thoughts" produced by Buckwild, Big L's "Ebonics" (Remix) produced by Premo, the blazin posse cut "Drop It Heavy," which features one of Big Pun's dopest verses ever, and also dope verses from KRS-One and A.G., "Stand Strong", which has another dope beat from Show, and a solid lyrical performance from Big L, Lord Finesse, O.C, and A.G, and "Tribute" which is dedicated to their fallen group member, Big L. The album is definitely as dope as I as said it is and every serious hip hop fan needs to have it in their collection, so go cop it and I promise you, you won't be sorry. Weapon X
i'm not sure. in the Quality Of Life mag (the one with Cav, PM, and AZ articles/interviews) features some pictures of scraps: nike, pmer (1989); pmsley (1989); joeypm, fuel; pm throwup on a red train from 96, some 1988 pm and bones, and a "freedom" production by joeypm, fuel, and revs.
Weapon X
it's gotta be the olschool pm, right? i don't know about no upstate - they're almost all new york city transit pictures.
ETHREADZNY
no doubt, I give Pm lots of credit, and others have requested some pm pix on 120z... I know that sixcentz has a couple pm flix, but the pics are unfortuantly limited..I will peek around and see what I can do... But I would love for others to contribute, Because the thread would fall apart quickly with only a couple of flix, even if pm paid his dues. .
