metronome Posted March 8, 2010 Share Posted March 8, 2010 I listen to a wide variety of music but nothing beats metal, so my friend who is an awesome drummer, like won competitions best in state type of good was playing. I decided to pick up a guitar and fuck around playing power cords but keeping with the beat. I was surprised I didn't completely blow for never playing before. I'm thinking of playing guitar as a hobby. I love playing metal more than listening. yep. playing's fuckin fun, especially when you can start making some cool sounds. pinch harmonics FTW. I'm actually quite surprised with how in touch Scion was with that lineup. Props to corporations actually doing some fuckin homework hahaha. And Manute that's fuckin sweet man. I have yet to find anyone around with the willingness to commit. Oh and Quo Vadis are fuckin on point as usual Metronome. Missed them months back. Buncha fuckasses remaining 'trve'. Lame. I proceeded to applaud Anaal Nathrahk for not being fuckasses and playing some of the most evil sounding shit I've heard. Krallice is another awesome band playing in the vein of blackmetal without the lame aesthetic/retardation. Daniel Mongrain is a fucking beast, but his vocals are hilarious. Martyr have a new album on the way, Dan was saying it won't be so dense. I'm looking forward to that Martyr are fuckin awesome. I like Corpse too, just fucking Paul is holding them back ... he's still doing the same blast beat from 1992 but he can't even keep it on beat anymore. Pat and Rob are both sick guitar players, Webster is a sick bassist, and corpsegrinder is aiight too but man oh man could they use a new drummer who can actually play tech shit. you can probably see brutal truth and magrudergrind and still get to see some of corpse.
