Say Goodbye to the Hitachi

It will be a sad day when they finally ship these beautiful beasts to the home of the curry. Hitachis have brought so much joy into my heart that when they do finally go I will probably retire from tagging and start piecing. Or ill probably just get a car and never catch public transport again. I cant bear to think of life on Melbournes trains without Hitachis. Its like Im gonna be losing a brother. What do others think? I love the Ol Harrys. So much better for piecing, they look more Bronxy and shit and the insides have much more space to get those big black stains and you can hang out the window and tag the roof. Much better than those new Connex and M train sterile things that have cameras and are cold and make you think youre at the dentist. It will be a sad day indeed.

Dipher, i know what you mean when you say it'll be like losing a brother. Those trains are just so familiar and comfortable. It won't be the same on a 30 degree day anymore. No more sticking your head out the window coming home from carrum or mordi beach. No more sticking your head out the window doing hangouts, or yelling drunken abuse at people on other platforms. I'm trying to paint as many as possible, before they pull the last ones out of service in december.

Seems like this is happening in other places as well. The old red Copenhagen S-trains are getting replaced by round wack things. The Orange SF Muni trains all got replaced by new cars with cameras(still dope to paint). Same with busses, all bright and lit up with 6 cameras.

Its bound to happen to all systems, the car that gets bombed in the heyday of the train scene getting scrapped. Cars get old and get replaced, thats life.

The nostalgia is gone but at least there is still something to paint right?

Melbourne City

Melbourne tracksides get painted very often as well as trains

How long have the trains been being hit?

since about the middle 80's

Do they still get hit often?

usually a few different sets every weekday and sometimes saturday due to there being so many yards also layups as well.

Do they often run?

Almost all of them run, they usually dont run for more than one day, however it depends on the size of the job and the train cleaners (which sometimes let it stay painted for longer, either because they like it or cant be fucked). They usually dont run through to noon.

What are some of the more active writers?

Angel, Frame, Dorps (when here), monk, smirt, flusta, gard, meant, sick, iglew, jiso, amik and many more, also he isn't active should of heard puzle/puz wca dma gone all around europe and

which city seems to have the nicest scene?

Melbourne for sure

Can some one please email ne these pics or upload them cause I still cant get into the gayass train nerd site

what are you talking about?

alos any europeans here seen or got any pictures of iree 3d panels or peices in europe?
