"It's reported that [Jackson] after being placed on the vehicle grabbed the testicles of the officer, and thereafter he was punched." Either way I aint buyin the whole "he deserved it' shit.Although Kabar had some usefull and obvious tips, ive been in situations where the cops beat me and my friends unprovoked. Although race might have been involved this aint a black and whte thing. LA is a very segregated city and has no one working in the department of race relations.I wasnt surprised to see these black leaders tootin their horn abou how blacks are fucked with, even though a majority of police brutality is towards latinos, yet not a word is mentioned about anyone else but blacks.If minorities want more equality, then we gotta stop working against each other and start unitying. When I was 11 my class went to the simon weisenthal museum. They were assholes to my all brown class and accused one of my classmates of stealing something(which he didnt).The cops showed up and put all the male students on the floor while they pushed our faces into the cement and searched us, which brought out no stolen weapons. Ive also been beaten by cops for no reson whatsoever.The first time was when I was 14 by the sherriffs. I was pulled over and searched.I had a record so the cops cuffed me and started calling me a bitch and what gang I was from. All this time i was polite to the cops cuz I had spent some time in juvi and knew not to fuck with cops. After they threw me on a fence that cut my chest I yelped and they beat the shit out of me, I ended up witha minor concussion and bruised rib, Im 5'6" now, and I was a lot smaller and skinnier at the time and these cops were big dudes. I also got pulled over once and got put in the hospital after asking politely to see the watch commander cuz I felt like I was unnecesarily stopped( I never even recieved a ticket). i have some more fun storeis but Im lazy.Its guys like you who defend create these assholes by making up stupid excuses for their misbehavior. I have family in the police force so I know better and have always treated officers with respect, sadly it there were a fewtimes when it was not reciprocated.
