http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/god-tests-abraham/gn22_08.jpg'>

Gn 22:8

Abraham replied, 'My son, God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering.' And the two of them went on together.

Gn 22:11

'Here I am,' he replied.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/god-tests-abraham/gn22_12.jpg'>

Gn 22:12

'Do not raise your hand against the boy,' the angel said. 'Do not harm him, for now I know that you fear God. You have not refused me your own beloved son.'

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/god-tests-abraham/gn22_13a.jpg'>

Gn 22:13

Then looking up, Abraham saw a ram caught by its horns in a bush.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/god-tests-abraham/gn22_13b.jpg'>

Gn 22:13

Abraham took the ram and offered it as a burnt offering instead of his son.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/god-tests-abraham/gn22_14.jpg'>

Gn 22:14

Abraham called this place 'Yahweh provides', and hence the saying today, 'On the mountain Yahweh provides.'

Gn 2:7

Yahweh God shaped man from the soil of the ground.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_07b.jpg'>

Gn 2:7

And blew life into his nostrils.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_07c.jpg'>

Gn 2:7

And man became a living being.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/b.../gn02_08-09.jpg

Gn 2:8-9

Yahweh God planted a garden in Eden, which is in the east, and there he put the man he had fashioned from the soil. Yahweh God caused to grow every kind of tree, enticing to look at and good to eat, with the tree of life in the middle of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_15.jpg'>

Gn 2:15

Yahweh God took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden to cultivate and take care of it.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_16-17.jpg'>

Gn 2:16-17

Then Yahweh God gave the man this comand 'You are free to eat of all trees in the garden. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you are not to eat; for the day you eat of that, you are doomed to die.'

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_18.jpg'>

Gn 2:18

Yahweh God said, 'It is not right that the man should be alone. I shall make him a helper.'

Gn 2:19

So from the soil Yahweh God fashioned all the wild animals and all the birds of heaven.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_19-20.jpg'>

Gn 2:19-20

These he brought to the man to see what he would call them; each one was to bear the name the man would give it. The man gave names to all the cattle, all the birds of heaven and all the wild animals. But no helper suitable for the man was found for him.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_21a.jpg'>

Gn 2:21

Then, Yahweh God made the man fall into a deep sleep.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_21b.jpg'>

Gn 2:21

And while he was asleep, he took one of his ribs and closed the flesh up forthwith.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_22a.jpg'>

Gn 2:22

Yahweh God fashioned the rib he had taken from the man...

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_22b.jpg'>

Gn 2:22

...into a woman, and brought her to the man.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_23.jpg'>

Gn 2:23

And the man said: 'This one at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh! She is to be called Woman, because she was taken from Man.'

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/revbps/bricktestament/garden-of-eden/gn02_25.jpg'>

Gn 2:25

Now, both of them were naked, the man and his wife, but they felt no shame before each other.
