This is me... I go to a good university, i'm an undergrad majoring in poli-sci and international studies, i'm now a sophmore with shitty grades at the moment, but i plan to raise them to straight A's.... ummmm, i am not in a fraternity, hopefully i'll never be in one, and i want to transfer up to depaul in chicago hopefully in the spring 2003 term... i wanna go to law school, in fact, i will go to law school, fuckin harvard law, only that its too expensie, but i can always hustle harder right?....

i live alone right now other than the occasional females stoopin by. havent even quit drugs yet, but i have cut back tremendously... no, not really.

i'm writing a thesis on marine chemistry at the moment. being an undergrad is great. my advice is to take as many classes as possible, in all kinds of subjects. you will learn so much. the thing about being educated is not that you retain a bunch of facts--because you don't--but the process of learning these useless facts fine tune your brain for stronger thinking, and better cognitive skills, and it will allow you to see that the world is waaaay more than meets the eye.

I went to art school. I found it really enhanced my whole outlook and productivity, but it's all in retrospect. While I was there, I was so angry at all the phoney baloney rich kids wasting their time, while I was busting my ass, going into debt, and having to sit through their crappy critiques. I applied to grad school last winter, but got denied. Booo!

So Artvandal, why do you want to go to law school? I know so many individuals who attended law school just to 'fight for the little guy', make a difference, join the ACLU, etc...and once out promptly went to work in corporate law. There must have be something about the law school process that brainwashed them to just become part of the machine, rather than stick to their original ideals...the huge debt maybe? I dunno.

i'm going to community college in the fall for photography. i chose it because it's really cheap and i don't want to be a part of some huge, selective school - it just isn't me.

afterwards i'm going to try to take some film classes and more photo classes and keep on keepin' on.

people in 99% of frats and sorrorities should be shot.

"Just remember kids... They cant teach Drive"

beyond true. I never had it until i finally got somewhere i wanted to be. now i actually look forward to each symester (that's not to say i don't get all mad and pissed at overly strict and anal teachers and can't wait for the symester to end once it gets about a month in to it...but i know i secretly love it although i won't admit it)

yeah ummm, even though Ive got 3 more years to look up the correct answer to why I'm headed to law school, here goes my thoughts. I intend to work for some International Government Organization, like the UN or World Bank, if not then a Non Government Organization, like the PFLP or Red Cresent. I took a class of diplomacy last semester and that shit really caught my attention and interested me, I did very good in the class even though my proffessor was a french cocksucker who didnt like to meet with me. I think I prefer a large institute like a University than a smaller one like a community college, nothing against them, only that the name of the school is more recognized, theres far more activities to get involved with, like say Pre-law programs or the "students for socialism" haha, i love that one, the rest of the kids in Political Science, mainly American Politics (go fukin figure huh) hate the students for socialism with a passion. And the feel to it that I am myself, and everyone else can go fuck themselves if theyre disgusted by the paint on my fingernails, plus you can hook up with people for future references easily, that is, if theyre not cocksuckers. I'm in International Politics and well on my way to international law, Its just the only thing that a university can offer me that I would enjoy, make a good living off of, and can relate to better than half the country with my experiences and multi-cultural backround. umm, I better change my signature now huh...

anyway, I think I'll take an uppr level class on diplomacy, though that shit requires you to grasp a whole different approach on world affairs and how and why theyre kept secret, or made public, like collin powells stupid ass going to the mideast and why he didnt get shit done, even though he wasnt supposed to get shit done in the first place. Ill keep going later. salams
