Depending On how old skool you go se4 were you around in the days when mode 2 of tca Lived on that manor ?? I Can remember seeing him up in a silver 20mm pilot shaker pen all thru ladywell park. This must have been around '86 It just blew me away that he could write and use his pen so neatly.

My other fave hits in that park are the foam pen hits In Crofton leisure centre There was some scabby hip hop jam type thing There Back in early 87 and a whole host of west london writers and writers from all over Reached it.

Foam was the one that really stood out Such class useage of a pilot marker that was in a purpley red colour ( remember that ink mixing shit ? ) Represnting south east were SPRAZE 26, BRONX,SCAN1,PEST AND FROK Have a pic somewhere of them all up on a electricity box door they really did smash the aera.

Does anyone have pics of the bromley buses in 88/89 or the 171/141 routes in 87 ? them days were thre real fighting for space to get your name up can remember back in 87 having to sit somewhere in the middle of the bus upstairs Just to try and get a reach

That would be wicked!

I am in the process of putting together a little A5 black and white mag with the first issue concentrating on handstyles and tracksides from London and anywhere I travel to. The first issue will be free of charge (if you send a SAE!)...it will also have a section for people who want to trade flics to place their e-mail addresses. If you want a free copy then send me an e-mail and i'll do enough for everyone. Easy all early morning workers!

:p

Sorry to go a bit off topic!

Yes indeed mr se4 i do remember old bubs he came from hayes in kent Met him in the most weirdest way he use to be into computer games and met him thru swapping them back in 88 when then he was hitting up the stations on the hayes line with this very basic B block throw up he later went onto to doing trains with arkay and razor and eventually got caught.

He had a very good job in banking and even though he had been caught and risked his job income etc continued into the 90's hitting trains then suddenly dropped out which was a shame but thats the way the cookie crumbles i guess :(

KEEP BOMBING

Bad-religion, I took that pic of the Northern in the late 90's so it is a bit recent to be classed as old-school. It's all good though.

As for the question on who had the first dub on London Bridge tracks I always thought it was Haste with a dub on the bridge just south of the station. I remember Bubs, Arkae and the AVZ lot used to hit trains at London Bridge station on a Sunday. Used to be really quiet there with hardly any trains rolling thru and no cameras on the platforms. Can't imagine hitting them there now at noon.

Cine was a major trackwalker, remember he did East Croydon to Balham which is quite a stretch.

And all this talk of AVZ makes m think of Rech. I remember him wearing his belt buckle talking to a policewoman saying "i'm rech" and there was a rechtag up next to him and she was just looking very confused and walked away. All that AVZ crowd and especially Rech were the first people I ever remember seeingwearing Aciieeed smileys.

What did Bubs write before he wrote Bubs though??
