blame Posted May 7, 2002 Share Posted May 7, 2002 think about it, microsoft payed the original hotmail owners 100 plus million dollars for complete ownership, meaning it was an investment, these guys have the worlds top investors and marketers working for them, so obviously they are making profit on it for them to want it that badly if they start charging, the number of subscribers/members would no doubt reduce dramatically hence causing them too loose money, they only bought hotmail cause it had like billions of subscribers, so they could track your web surfing patterns send you spams etc etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
