I think it was Apogee who first put it out, then Spear of Destinty was released by ID - Or was it ID software all along? Whatever. I just remember drawing chainguns in the 6th grade with my good friend who had some 'soundblasters' on his piece of shit IBM..Back then Duke Nuke 'em sucked! I remember being told about DOOM shortly before its release and thinking: "No way - A Chainsaw?" That shit set the bar.. ..what came out after that? Oh yeah Rise Of The Triad..Too many cheats involved to make it any kind of challenge. Then it was Quake. Then it was Unreal - Killing people on the net was the shit. I still play that one, I think capture the flag is a rush. Delta Force 1 & 2, Counterstrike, Half-life RTCW I got it last christmas. My favorite line in the game: "Is someone there?"
