KASTsystem
Does anyone know of any filters or tutorials I can use in order to make text look like it's dripping....kind of like a drippy marker tag. I've been trying to figure it out for about 2 days now.
KASTsystem
help...please. anybody?
SKUMBALUCKAH
Why dont you just put some lines comming down that are the same colour as the font?! seems quite straight foward, I dont see why you need a filter to do it.
KASTsystem
yeah...i could do that, but i want it to look realistic. i'm afraid that might look like i drew them on. i'll give it a try though.
Guest --zeSto--
one way is to draw them on, the add a very slight emboss to the drips. http://www.indigoproductions.com/free_stuf...lime_action.htm or just jeck this for a slightly more harsh look... http://www.phong.com/tutorials/slime/
KASTsystem
thanks zesto. i already tried that phong tutorial before i made this thread. i think i'll try your emboss suggestion.

Vanity
seems like as good a thread as any to post my prob, but any who... i use PS 5.5... and when i save for the web, a lot of times, people's computers don't recognize it.. it's a jpeg, but it doesn't see the format. in aim and thumbnail viewers, it comes up as a red x... is it just because it's an older version, or what? thanks
casekonly
i've encountered similar probs, but i don't know exactly what i did to correct them, it was a long time ago...instead of jpegs, try gifs or bmp's. other than that, i don't know what to tell you

yoink
you save it as a websafe gif file? -I would guess that rather than your program, its what browsers people are using to view the image that would conflict with it. -I am slightly confused but I save for web often....(which I assume you mean the save for web option) as a gif, and it works usually with all browsers. But Ive had problems in the past with some images not being viewed by people. I guess I would try to save it as a .gif -good luck.
Vanity
yeah, the save for web option... but it also lets you save as a jpeg, which are ussually smaller than gifs w/ the stuff i work with.. and i've ran into the prob a couple times... even some of my own newer software has trouble recognizing it. Guest WebsterUno
^^^hahaha... yeah, that could be your problem. But, when you do a save to web.. try the pull down menu in the save as option box. Save it as a Compuserve Gif. then add the .gif tag. That should work.
