After that he began to love watching TV. He is gentle and strong. When he is in a bad mood, he breaks wind. Domo-kun (roughly translated "Mr Thank You") is the mascot of Japanese television station NHK, which is sort of like PBS here in the U.S. Domo-kun appears in between shows in short little film clips, and thanks the audience for watching.
